Desert Air Pilot Services, LLC is a Veteran owned business located in Tucson, Arizona.  We specialize in Pilot/Co-Pilot services, flight training, and aircraft transaction and ownership consulting. 

Paul Besing has been flying for 17 years and over 2,500 hours of flight time, with experience in civilian and military flight operations.  He has flown aircraft such as vintage tailwheel aircraft such as Cessna 140, and Piper Cubs, military helicopters such as the AH-64D Apache, and various high performance single and multi-engine aircraft. 

An FAA Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) with ratings to include:
  • Instrument
  • Single an Multi Engine Airplane
  • Glider
Paul has been teaching since 2004 and has taught private pilots, instrument rating, commercial pilots, flight instructors, glider pilots, and many tailwheel endorsements. 

We are experienced in FAR Part 91 and Part 135 operations, as well as instruction under Part 61 and Part 141.  Training is a large part of our business, and can train in your aircraft, or can provide training aircraft for you.
